cover 1938 (June) a group of covers addressed to Addis Abeba, Ancona and Genoa bearing various frankings cancelled by Arms in oval "REGIE POSTE/COMANDO.BATT. GRANATIERI SAVOIA/IN ESTREMO-ORIENTE" in blue or turquoise, additional postmarks include "UFFICIO POSTA MILITARE/120" and Genoa. Also 1937 (10 Oct.) postcard to Chilano bearing China 2c. and 13c. tied by large Shanghai bilingual c.d.s. - many soldiers used the Chinese post office which was quite efficient, this is thought to be the earliest known correspondence from the Italian forces.
