A wholecloth quilt of ivory cotton printed in red, black and yellow with floral medallions, reversing to cream cotton printed with herons, convolulous and other flowers, the central field quilted with square diamonds, with outer frames of cables and waves--88 x 90in. (220 x 225cm.), probably circa 1900; another with a chestnut brown field bordered with a dark brown frame, within a border of maroon, blue and light brown floral printed stripes, quilted with diamonds, reversing to pale blue printed with a "Paisley" style design--60 x 70in.
