Original publisher's blindstamped green cloth, spine gilt-decorated, by Edmonds and Remnants with their ticket at lower corner of rear pastedown (Freeman binding variant b) and with advertisements dated June 1859 (Freeman variant 3), no priority established, uncut (recased, a few skilful repairs to cloth, small inkspot on front cover).
