FIRST EDITION IN BOOK FORM of the 29 papers published by Faraday in Philosophical Transactions between 1832 and 1852. The collection includes all of Faraday's most important contributions, including his distinctions between the different forms of electricity, his first theory of electricity as a function of interparticulate strain, his discovery of electro-magnetic induction, and his research on magnetism.
