3 volumes, large 4o (330 x 271). Woodcut title-pages, engraved dedication pages by Robert Ashby and Thomas Williamson after drawings by E.F. Burney and Thomas Tomkins, 104 handcolored aquatints by J. Bluck, J. Stadler, Hill and Sutherland after Thomas Rowlandson and A. Pugin (some faint spotting, very occasional offsetting to text). Later crimson straight-grain morocco, gilt-panelled and tooled in blind, with scrolling gilt foliate cornerpieces to the central panels, spines and turn-ins gilt, g.e. (joints and corners slightly worn). Provenance: Robert Norton Ganz (bookplate on front pastedown, Vols. I and III).
