A RARE FAMILLE ROSE TURQUOISE-GROUND TEAPOT AND COVER
IRON-RED DAOGUANG SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD

The oval body intricately enamelled with Indian lotus blooms below bats and peaches, alternating with gilt shuangxi, double happiness, characters, surrounded by a dense composite floral scroll extending to the curved spout and loop handle, the base encircled with lotus lappets and the raised rim with a classic scroll above a trefoil band, the elaborate lotus scroll repeated on the domed cover, around the iron-red and gilt-decorated finial (minor enamel flakes)
