A FINELY PAINTED BLUE AND WHITE VASE, YUHUCHUNPING
QIANLONG SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD

Painted around the pear-shaped body in underglaze-blue of brilliant tone simulating the 'heaping and piling' effect with a continuous fenced terrace landscaped with bamboo and plantain growing beside ornamental rocks on grassy mounds, between lappets encircling the base and bands of pendent ruyi, scrolling foliage and upright leaves around the waisted neck, the gently splayed foot with a border of demi-lotus blooms
