A VERY FINE TRANSITIONAL BLUE AND WHITE YANYAN VASE

Vividly painted on the lower section with two birds in flight among flowering branches, above chrysanthemum and bamboo issuing from rockwork, all between two incised bands of classic scroll at the foot and shoulder, the tall trumpet neck painted with a third bird hovering beside peony, lotus and other aquatic plants floating or half-submerged in a pond, the flaring rim encircled with another incised scroll
