Of broad compressed bombe shape with an everted downturned rim, all under a clear sea-green glaze suffused with tiny bubbles, the base bearing a seal mark in underglaze-blue

The Chinese characters on the base reads: Jiangxi shen Fu Jian zhao X? changzhi which may translate as 'Made for the Jian Treasury, Jiangxi province by the X? factory'.
