The rectangular top above a hinged sloping flap with a green baize writing-surface to the reverse, enclosing a fitted interior inlaid overall with featherbanded lines, with four pigeon-holes, six drawers and a central door flanked by two secret compartments above a well, the bomb base with two short drawers and two long drawers, on spreading legs, restorations
