An ivory okimono
modelled as a man crossing a log bridge, carrying a cylindrical wicker basket on a pole over his right shoulder, his left hand held out to balance him, carved wood stand modelled as rockwork and a meandering river -- the ivory 9in. (25cms) long, signed on red red lacquer tablet to underside, 19th century.
