A 2in. gauge model of the LNER Class A3 4-6-2 locomotive and tender No. 4472 Francis Jean
with brazed and soft soldered fire-tube boiler with water and pressure gauges, safety, blower and clack valves and washout plug. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with Walschaert's valve gear, fluted connecting and coupling rods, mechanical lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass and other details. Tender details include hand feed pump, dummy corridor connection and four axles, steps and hand irons (one buffer missing), finished in L.N.E.R. livery and lining -- 7 x 38in. (19 x 96.5cm.)
