Blue interlaced L's enclosing date letter ii for 1786, painter's mark for Boucot, gilder's mark for de Laroche, the cup incised 42, the saucer incised 86
Painted in iron-red on the yellow ground with arabesques and urns, the border above in colours with similar grapevines, the blue border below with linked motifs of rosettes centering stylized leaves
2.3/8in. (6cm.) high, the cup, 5.3/8in. (13.6cm.) diameter, the saucer
