Vase-shaped, on spreading circular foot, the lower body applied with alternating bands of lobing and strapwork on a matted ground, below an applied mid-band, the leaf-clad scroll handles with flowerhead and strapwork decoration, the high-domed cover with similar fluting and calyx surmounted by a waterleaf and bead finial, engraved with armorials, marked under base and on cover--11 3/4in. (29.9cm.) high
