Of foliate design, depicting Night and Day, each centered by a female bust, one above an opium poppy, the other above an image of the rising sun, within a shaped cartouche, against a hammered ground, at intervals applied with collet-set cabuchon-cut amethysts, respectively collet-set fire-opals, in fitted leather case
Each part stamped R. Lalique, the case marked R. Lalique 40. Court La Reine Paris
