Caractacus Potts is seen wearing an identical pair of trousers during the climax of the film when he and Truly Scrumptious, disguised as a puppet and a marionette, perform for Baron Bomburst's birthday. Also in the following scene where they chase through the Baron's castle to rescue Grandpa and the children.
