A George III oak 30-hour longcase clock, third quarter 18th century
The small case with flat top, square top trunk door and on later plinth (case cut down), the 10in. square cut away brass dial with foliate spandrels to brass chapter ring with five pointed star half hour markers, the centre engraved with crossed branches and signed John Luckman Church Bickenhill, with single cut steel hand, the movement (distressed) with countwheel strike on bell -- 73in. (186cm.) high
