the frosted gilt movement, jewelled to the hammers, with bimetallic balance, eight adjustments, repeating hours, quarters and minutes on two gongs by operating the slide in the band, the matt gilt dial with Arabic numerals, outer seconds ring, subsidiary dials for running seconds and thirty minute recorder, blued steel spade hands, sweep centre seconds operated by a single button in the winder, in plain case, movment and dial signed, case numbered

the watch looks much earlier than the import mark would indicate and it may be that it is old stock which has been sold to England in the 1950s or that for some reason it was marked under regulations at that time for imported property....
