vase shaped, part fluted with rising knopped stem and beaded borders, the body with applied oval cartouches, one crested and one embossed with a rural scene, between two bands of scrolling foliage centred with paterae, the handles with foliate decoration, the cover similarly decorated, with acorn finial, on wooden plinth, by William Holmes, 1787 - 42cm high (not including plinth), 61.5oz.
