Armagnac, Semp--Vintage 1968 Tasting note: The colour is a marvelously clear amber-brown, with mahogany glints. Quite rich on the nose, a warming winter scent. These armagnacs are reminiscent of cherries in their richness on the palate, but they are dry. There is some spiciness to the '68; a sort of Christmas pudding effect or a very good plum cake with a spicy, arresting quality about it. This armagnac is extremely fine.
