Arabic manuscript on paper, each folio with 13ll. of black naskh, gold roundels between verses, gold margin between black rules, red outer rule, gold and polychrome illuminated marginal medallions marking the divisions of text, occasional marginal notes in red and black, sura headings in white naskh on gold cartouches in illuminated panels, illuminated opening bifolio, Ottoman, final folio with colophon signed by Ali al-Wahabi al-Hafiz bi'l-Qur'an, known as Damad Duruni(?) and dated the beginning of Muharram AH 1209/1794-5 AD, later maroon morocco binding and flap with gold European-style tooling - 14.8 x 9.5cm.
