gouache heightened with gold on paper, in a clearing among trees sit three long-haired ascetics, two have their hair wrapped and tied up, the third has it loose, one wears yellow robes under his beige shawl, red border with black and red rules, mounted, (small holes, flaking to edges), Mughal, 18th century - 16.5 x 11cm.; and a lady, standing facing left, wearing gold and purple, she holds her veil with her right hand, blue and orange borders, floral leaf, mounted, late 18th century - 16.2 x 7cm.
