A rare William & Mary ascribed West Country silver-gilt lace-back trefid spoon,
with a rounded terminal and two ear-like projections, the rat-tail with ribbed decoration, the back of the terminals pricked "S.I.A 1693", maker's mark struck twice on the back of the stem, by Richard Hamlin, Taunton, circa 1693 - 19.5cm long, 1.25oz.
