FOUR IVORY AND WOOD NETSUKE

A group of four netsuke comprising three ivory carvings, a Sambaso dancer, the monkey wearing a cap and costume etched with sprays of pine, signed Juzan, a man crouched on the end of a rolled scroll of paper, signed on the underside indistinctly, and two puppies, one holding a sandal in its mouth, unsigned, and one wood figure of a boy seated and gesturing with his tongue, holding a demon mask at his back, his under robe inlaid in colored ivory and applied with two gilt metal chrysanthemums, inscribed signature unclear--1 3/4 in.
