A RUSSET-LACQUERED SANMAI-BACHI

Comprised of the three main plates of the bowl, a single plate encircling the back half of the neck and a flaring single plate for the mabisashi, all of which are covered with an even russet sabiagehiramaki-e unsigned ; five-lame iron shikoro lacquered transparent orange over gilt; metal butterfly maedate and lacquered fan-shaped crest.
