Surmounted by a gilt-metal canopy with serpentine pointer to the two white enamel revolving chapter rings for hours and minutes, the movement housed within the camel's hump below, with twin barrels and cylinder escapement, countwheel strike on bell to the backplate stamped for S. Marti, the camel resting on a spreading socle and on a variegated marble plinth with concave cut corners; the canopy and gilt dial cover possibly associated
