with knop finial and flowerhead handles, painted and gilt with a lady seated on a terrace, a warrior and dignitary standing in a rocky garden before her, the cover with retreats in river landscape scenes, all within a spearhead border -- 9in. (23.5cm.) diam, 18th Century, (chip to underside of rim of cover, one handle restored).
