Bound volume containing 40 mounted india proofs before letters of the illustrations and TWO ORIGINAL SIGNED PENCIL AND INK WASH DRAWINGS (mounted) by Cruikshank for two of the illustrations. Folio, full green morocco gilt, t.e.g., some wear at edges; some scattered foxing. The original drawings are entitled "Lady Jane Gray a Prisoner" and "Lawrence Nightgall dragging Ciceley down the secret stairs in the Salt Tower" (portion of the left margin restored), and contain some marginal pencil studies by Cruikshank.
