Engraved map, dissected and mounted on folding linen sheets, comprising "Tableau d'assemblage" (ruled and numbered in red ink in relation to the earlier Ferraris map), "Carte des neuf dpartements qui forment la nouvelle division de la Belgique", the main map of Belgian territory on 22 sheets numbered 1-22 in pen and ink on the vellum pull tags, a further 7 maps of German territory to the east of Belgium (31 folding linen sheets in all), the sheets 630 x 830 mm. approx. and smaller. Contained in two English contemporary olive-green straight-grained morocco pull-off cases with marbled paper sides, the backs gilt lettered and numbered, 212 x 156 x 120 mm. (2)
