A GILT-METAL MOUNTED MEISSEN SCENT BOTTLE
Circa 1750, blue crossed swords mark to the underside
Of rocaille-moulded cartouche form enriched in gilt, painted in the manner of Watteau with landscape vignettes of ftes champtres, the underside with iron-red flowers, the contemporary gilt-metal stopper as a flame and chained to the collar chased with rocaille scrolls, with dentil footrim
