RARE NEW ZEALAND BRANDY
Made in 1962 by a consortium of 7 winemakers; Nobilo, Babich, Delegat, Totara, Seleks, Lincoln and Balich (Golden Sunset), as part of experimental trials to produce top quality New Zealand Brandy. The initial fermentations were conducted in the cellars of Babich Wines. Distillation, in a specially constructed traditional column still, was conducted under the supervision of the late Nick Delegat and Mate Selak.
Only a small number of bottles were filled, four of which were each specially packaged in a toughened glass pyramid set on a gold plated base. A rare, collectable time capsule of the sixties.
