Lot Essay

Of the regular cavalry regiments, the 3rd Dragoon Guards and the 12th Lancers wore silver-flapped pouches with the Prince of Wales's feathers superimposed on the cypher. However, both these regiments wore the standard (un-reversed) version of the VR cypher.
