Sergeant George Hendry, aged 30 years, of Parkside, Lister, Caithness was killed in action on 4.11.1918 while serving with the 13th Battalion, Black Watch during the Battle of the Sambre and is buried in Cross Roads Cemetery, Fontaine-au-Bois.
