drypoint in dark brown, circa 1890, on pale blue laid paper, watermark Grapes, a fine, delicate impression with touches of burr, fifth (final) state, signed in pencil, with wide margins, a tiny and very unobtrusive abrasion just inside the platemark at right, the palest light-staining, otherwise in very good condition
