The drum-shaped case supported on the back of a trumpeting elephant and surmounted by the figure of a seated figure in oriental costume, the white enamel Roman and Arabic dial, signed Mauduit A PARIS, with foliate pierced of gilt pointers, the later twin train movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on a bell, on a later associated white marble plinth
