A very similar figure was sold Sotheby's Monaco, 19 June 1988, lot 1693, and is now in the Copeland Collection at the Peabody Museum of Art, Salem, illustrated by W.S. Sargent, The Copeland Collection; Chinese and Japanese Ceramic Figures, no. 55.
