A BOW LOBED POT-POURRI VASE AND COVER
Circa 1755
The domed cover with bird finial, applied with flowers enclosing apertures arranged in a circle and alternate with moulded forget-me-nots, the vase similarly decorated, the applied flowers issuing from an applied shelf of blue, yellow and puce shells and flanking a cartouche painted with moths and butterflies centering moulded wheat sheaves and forget-me-nots, the foot with two bands of similar flowers
