The arched cornice with reeded edge and turned urn-form finials, above a central outset amaranth diamond-inlaid panel, above two glazed doors with Gothic mullions, enclosing an interior with movable shelf rack, above a panelled fall-front secretaire drawer enclosing a tooled leather-lined writing surface, drawers and pigeonholes, above three long graduated drawers, over a shaped apron on bracket feet, lacking shelves, the interior electrified and top now hinged to accomodate wiring
