This work, executed in 1946 after a visit to Stone Harbor, New Jersey, depicts Betsy Wyeth, the arist's wife and Nicholas Wyeth, the artist's son.

This tempera will be included in Betsy James Wyeth's forthcoming catalogue raisonn of the artist's work.
