The domed cover surmounted by a pine-cone finial, the underside with red overglazed mark inscribed Château des Tuileries and blue mark Sèvres 1900, above a waisted neck, the ovoid body depicting a Boucher-style scene to the front, signed Moxant, and putti to the back, both in a reserved panel, flanked to each side by an acanthus and laurel handle, on a spreading circular foot, on a shaped square plinth
