BALTHASAR RESS
Four generations of the Ress family have contributed to the family estate named after the founder Balthasar Ress in 1870. Following significant acquisitions over the past decade the estate now covers 27 hectares of prime Rheingau vineyards, mainly planted with Riesling. Many of the wines are marketed as "Charta" wines and the same high standards in both the winery as in the vineyards.
Stefan Ress is also a well known connoisseur of modern art
