The rectangular top with hinged flaps above two frieze drawers, one fitted to one side and simulated drawers to the other, on vase-shaped end-supports joined by an arched stretcher, on an outscrolled plinth base with brass castors, one end-support partially replaced, repaired split to top, the cap to the inkwell inscribed 'Elise Decbr 23 1837'
