Literature
The Lotus shape was a pre Clarice Cliff Wilkinson shape introduced in 1919. With its handle the flower jug was subject to a lower rate of taxation and therefore more profitable. The Wax Flower design of 1930 illustrates Clarice's growing confidence to produce geometric floral designs.
