AN ITALIAN CREAMWARE CIRCULAR TUREEN AND COVER ON FIXED STAND, EARLY 19TH CENTURY, modelled in the neo-classicc style as a brazier, the domed cover with pinecone finial, raoised on tripod paw feet with fluted pilaster legs, each knee as a lion mask suspending a fixed ring, on stepped base, the rim of the cover, sides of the body and base moulded with a grape vine, enamelled with vignettes of domestic and game birds--9½in. diam.
