of plain cylindrical form, later decorated, pierced with pastoral scenes, flanking a vacant oval cartouche, the finial in the form of a covered urn, the leaf-capped handle surmounted by a shell thumbpiece, with blue glass liner, makers mark distorted, possibly by John Caney, 1803 - 8.5cm, 6oz.
