Tibet, circa 16th Century
The six-armed Dharmapala trampling in alidhasana on a prostrated figure of Vinayaka over a lotus base, holding a vajra and skull cup in his principal hands, his remaining radiating arms in tarjani mudra, wearing a lion skin dhoti, snake bracelets, beaded armlets and a scarf billowing around his shoulders, his face with a ferocious expression with furrowed brows highlighted in red surmounted by a skull tiara and flaming hair
