Super-Chancery folio, 301 x 204 mm. (11 7/8 x 8 in.), modern brown morocco, sides tooled in blind, spine in six compartments lettered in gilt, edges stained red, 2 small repairs to title-leaf, marginal repair to last leaf, lower margins of fols. aa2, bb4 and dd2-3 extended, just grazing last lines of text, bb4 with purple ink-stamp at foot of text block, a few small stains, occasional light foxing, a very few leaves browned.

Collation: aa8 bb-mm6 nn4 a-c6 d4. 100 leaves, aa2-nn3 foliated 2-75, a1-d3 foliated 1-21. Types: 1:74G, 2:130R, 80Gk, double column. 66 lines and headline, 14-, 6- and 4-line white-on-black foliated initials, 6 14-line black-on-white historiated or ornamental initials, full-page woodcut table of consanguinity on ff5v, numerous small woodcut symbols and diagrams in text, woodcut printer's device (Kristeller 281) at end.
