The oval case engraved overall with foliate designs and with Greek key border to the base, with conforming mask to the white enamel Roman dial, steel moon hands, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform for the bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat on two gongs, with two-position adjustment lever to the base -- 5.2/3in. (14.5cm.) high
