The case with handle to breakarch top, arched fish scale sound frets and on bracket feet, the gilt dial mask engraved typically with foliage on a matted ground, the white enamel chapter disc of watch type and with Roman chapters and Arabic quarters (cracks), later hands, the twin chain fusee movement with verge escapement and strike on bell, the foliate engraved backplate with European style monogram to the centre; case re-gilt -- 7¼in. (18.5cm.) high
