A pair of Japanese cloisonne baluster vases
decorated in coloured enamels with cranes in flight and wading beneath blossoming branches, smaller birds and butterflies in flight amongst flowers and foliage on turquoise grounds betweeen borders of flowers and foliage on brown grounds, with later gilt bronze decorative mounts -- 17½in. (44.5cm) high overall, the cloisonne 19th Century, (bases drilled, one with dent to neck rim).
